How to keep bracelets looking equal

What I mean by this is, having the same size knots and keeping everything on the bracelet looking the same. I have made quite a few bracelets in the past that have turned out incredible but there are some patterns that I try and try again and they never seem to look how I hoped. Is there something that I am doing wrong or something that I could do differently to help with this issue.

try keeping equal knot tension (pull the knots tight to an even degree)

Hi! I actually just answered a similar question to this hehe but I’ve knotted for over 7 years now and I found that although knot tension and practice can help tremendously with how the bracelet looks, sometimes it can be the pattern itself! The structure of the knots (forward, backward, forward-backward, and backward-forward) each is a little different which can cause some bumpiness throughout some patterns. This can also be affected by whether you segment know or go row by row, this can tend to show up more when you segment knot though since you go section by section! Hope this helps and happy knotting! 💕

I have also been recently working on this and I recommend playing around with knot tension until you find what is right for you and what you can do consistent. If you are struggling with your towns not appearing equal, I use a ruler to gently manipulate my knots into a straight line! Hope this helped! 🙂

If you are working with normal bracelets then you can only really experiment with knot tension as manipulating the rows only works for alphas.
