I've always made normal bracelets until recently and over time they I made them how I liked! firm and straight! but my alphas always look starched out and aren't as firm and they just look clumsy in general, the pattern doesn't come out the way I see it in other pictures 🙁 any tips on how I can improve that

I just saw your most recent photo of an alpha. It actually looks pretty good. One thing you could do to make it more uniform, is to use the straight edge technique . The tutorials section and YouTube are super helpful. And using the flat alpha technique also help with the uniformity of the bracelet.

GURL. Your alphas are so cute!! Don't beat yourself up. it takes practice to get into a groove with your alphas. what I recommend is using the straight edge technique. This is when you do backward-forward knots on the left edge base string and forward backward knots on the right edge base string. you can also use the flat alpha technique, which Masha Knots, or @Racoon on BB posted on Youtube. It is amazing, and my bracelets are super flat now because of it. hope this helps! ❤️

Something I like to do is use a thicker string for my base strings because it makes the bracelet a lot more sturdy and just neater overall. Don’t worry too much though because nobody’s alphas look perfect and neat at the start. It took me a few alphas to get a hang of my knot tension and I still feel like I have room to improve
