knitted triangle ends?

I’ve seen some users make triangle ends that look sorta knitted and the triangles that I do don’t look as knitted. An example would be “Clairehairs”, some of her endings look nice and knitted. She says she ends with triangle ends but it just looks different than mine. I saw a tutorial of it on here called a macrame loop? It was kinda confusing to me. I also watched Masha Knots on how to do triangle ends as well. I hope this makes sense, thanks!

As far as Claire’s bracelets go, I think I see what you mean? Some of her triangles have the knots on the outer edge as opposed to the inner side which gives it a bit of a different look. Is that what you mean?

I think what she’s done is kept the same knotting string. If you look, the ones that have that look don’t alternate colours at the bottom. So -I think anyways, I’ll have to give it a try- she gathers the strings in the same way as normal triangle ends but just does a backwards-forwards or forwards- backwards knot with one string.

I don’t exactly understand .. if she uses the same knotting string ? What does she do when she makes two triangles at the end ?

For my bracelets where the knots are on the outside of the triangle ends, I use the same knotting string to make all of those knots, kinda like how I make a knotted loop except I pull a string out after every knot I make. Hope this helps!

@clairehair oh yes I see what you’re saying! But how did you add in your background string without knotting it into the triangle? Did you just make the background string the last string you do you knot on when doing the triangle?

Masha Knots has at least a similar technique that i looked up today to start a bracelet and i think that might be what you’re going for. It’s the triangle ends for alphas one. Hope this helps!
