How long should I make?

So, I'm going to try an alpha pattern wich is #42353, but I don't know how long should I make the strings.

The base strings need to be the length of the bracelet plus some extra for the ties. If you have ever made an alpha, you can measure how long a certain amount of rows is and use that to calculate. If you haven't made an alpha yet, I would recommend doing one with less strings and colours first.

You can use an alpha you’ve made in the past to measure how long to make your strings. For example, if you have a 45 row alpha, cut your strings double the length of the knotted part and make sure to have a few extra inches for the ends.

Just a tip. If you ever run out of string you can tape right under the color you were knotting with and use it

I honestly for all my alphas do 30 in. I find it works great for me and I always have extra to do what ever kind of ending.
