Hi, I want to make my alphas strong and last a long time and I don't know what to do to the string that sticks out the back after I have cut some of it off. Should I use glue? Please can I have some tips? Thanks in advance.

I usually use glue to stick down the stings that stick up, but if you really don’t like the way it looks, you could see on a piece of fabric or felt to the back of the bracelet

@oceanknot Thank you! Does the back of the alpha feel sharp when you use a glue stick? 🙂

I don’t really wear my bracelets, but I don’t think that they do. I also wouldn’t suggest putting a ton of glue on either, so if you just put a little, I don’t think it would feel sharp. I’ve heard that clear nail polish has a pretty sharp feeling though, so glue might be better since it’s less firm when it dries

@happyrobin I haven’t used glue but I do find that using clear top coat makes it really hard and stiff. But once I’ve worn my bracelets it is less hard.

What I do is thread the color your done with through some of the strings in the back. I hope that made since☺️. It takes longer than glue but then you don’t need to worry about it being scratchy.
