As a first pattern I recommend a pattern with not too many base strings (10 at most) and not too many colours (maybe 2 or 3). You can filter the alpha patterns based on that to find a fitting pattern.The first alpha that I posted a photo of was #25046 which is a bit bigger than I would recommend, but I have definitely tried other alphas before which I think where the simple og alphas that had plain text and that you only use one leading string for (for the second colour you just make knots with the base strings on the leading string) A pattern that has a few more colours that I think is perfect for beginners is #36730 because you can practice your colour switches as much as you want and you can freestyle it and don't really have to follow the pattern. |

for a first alpha Id probably recommend basic text patterns because they only have 2 colors and not too many base strings! : )

also with some you can practice edge switches, like one of my first was #6238 without the border

#1654 is a great bracelet to make for your first alpha because it only has two colours and not many strings, so it's hard to go wrong. #26251 is also really good and has a few more colours and strings. These were some of the first alphas I made and they were both really simple and easy to make.

I am trying to make my first alpha and it is so hard to do it. The instructions won't fit in the page and it says something about it being 50 LINES 🤯 😭 . I am doing this for school and it has to be done by at least January 10. Can you please help me?
