How long should I leave for my ties?

So I think the title kinda explains my question... However, for maybe some more detail, I'm asking for normal bracelets, not alphas. And also this is for bracelets with no beginning loops. 🙂

I usually keep 6 inches of string at the end, before i twist those into the twisted braid ending. Sometimes thats perfect, for the smaller bracelets thats a bit long, but you can cut of the excess string later. Much here is up to your preference, i like them on the longer side but that doesn't mean everybody will🤷♀️ |

@Karo-H thanks! 🙂 the bracelets I currently have to leave ends for are between the range of 14-20 strings. which I think are on the bigger side. so I think 6in are pretty good 👍

i typically measure the leftover string from the tip of my pointer finger down to where my thumb and palm connect. i usually aim to end at about that length but never let it get shorter than that (before braiding)
