Has anyone ever had an issue with the knots turning? I tie pretty tight out of preference which usually gives me nice knots but I just started making a bracket with a clean back and my knots are shifting in the direction of tying I.e. forward knots look like this \ and backwards knots look like this /

Your knots slanting probably has to do with the fact that you are tying your knots very tight, that can also lead to string snapping, and other problems like that. To get your knots to look straighter and cleaner, I would recommend loosening up your knots a bit, and if you don't already, use a ruler or the edge of your scissors to kind of push up your row that you're working on, I've noticed that that helps straighten my knots out. This is super common when u make really tight knots. What i recommend is loosening your knots a little bit so that they are more round and full rather than slanted. Hope this helps! ❤️
