Knots flipping over

I'm not sure if I can explain this correctly but I'm having trouble with some of my knots flipping over. Say I have a red thread and a white one. I do a backwards knot and have the red on top. Then if I go to tie another knot the first one flips over and the white thread ends up on top. How do I stop it from doing that? (I hope I explained it correctly) |

pull down on the string u don’t want to flip, and try making ur knots looser. it happens to everyone tho so i think everyone knows what u mean

Thank you! I kept tightening them thinking that would help. I'm glad I asked. I'm really new at making bracelets (unless you count the ones I made in high school but that was 25 years ago 😭 and they were really basic 😄 ) |

That happens on occasion when I pull it too tight. Just undo it and it will get less frequent over time
