So I just designed a bracelet pattern and I wanted to make it and just realized that a color starts and ends on the edge - and I won’t be changing the pattern to make it so it doesn’t do that bc it turned out how I needed it to but like does anyone have an idea of how to make it so it won’t like stick out like some way to tuck it somewhere - idk if that makes sense

I would just use glue to stick any strings on the back once you finish knotting the bracelet

You can leave a little extra in the end, at the end of your bracelet pull it behind the back and knot it to another string sticking out the back, trim the extra string.

Masha Knots on Youtube has a very helpful tutorial that I used to help me with edge color changes. I will link it below. Hope this helps! ❤️link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T6eRTOWtHlU |

I know it's like super late to reply to this but here are two things that can help- use the straight edges technique: this way the end will always stick towards the inside of the bracelet and not outwards - use the flat alpha technique: I know it's commonly said that you can't do it, but you can. You can do the flat alpha technique both before and after a colour switch. For colour switches at the edge only one of those is possible without the string sticking out, but that means that there still always is one way to do it. |
