How do u start a normal pattern having odd no of strings with triangle ends?

You do it the same way you would if you had an even number of strings, but one side will just have an extra string. I like to make a loop and then for my extra string, I make it half the length of the rest of my strings plus a couple extra inches so that it can fold over. Once I’ve done the loop, I pair up the extra “tail” with another string and knot over it like normal
