I want to buy better embroidery floss. I like tying my knots pretty tight when I make bracelets (not crazy tight, but neat). However, the thread I have now snaps rather easily, and it's a pain to have to reweave it back into the bracelet. Where should I get new thread from? I want good quality and nice colors. DMC? Etsy? Any specific sets? Please let me know!

DMC is my favorite but Loops & Threads and Threadship are both sturdy and come in lots of colors. L&T and Threadship are both sold in the same aisle as DMC in Michael's in the US.

You should buy Loops and Threads at Michaels. It is more affordable than DMC and pretty good quality! I work with it 95 🙂 % of the time and it has never ever ever broke or snapped! I also recommend J&P Coats embroidery floss too! It is also more affordable than DMC and awesome quality!

DMC is really good for quality 6-strand embroidery floss as well as craft cord-like string (pearl cotton), however it is a bit pricey. if u live in the us, michaels loops and threads also works very well!

Prism is the worst string out there so I do not suggest that….. I have some Amazon string idk what the brand is but it’s pretty good. My fav is dmc but you have to be willing to pay a little extra (it’s cheaper on the dmc website) I heard loops and threads is good but I have never used it so not sure 🤔 enjoy!

I use DMC and Loops and Threads mostly but I also use Iris, Prism, and MIRA (on amazon) occasionally. I wouldn't recommend buying the cheap threads on amazon because the material is weird and the colors are all different (not good for alphas).

DMC is probably your best bet. You can get it pretty cheap at 123thread.com, especially if you buy a bunch at once. Can't beat their prices.
