So i’ve been experimenting with alphas lately, making bracelets and keychains, but i’ve ran into a problem every time. When i make the alpha the pattern is always stretched. For example, I made a minecraft bracelet and what is an 8x8 section of the bracelet that should be a square, is more of a rectangle. I made a duck patterns and it is just very stretched out. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this??

I find that when I make alphas, the pattern is stretched vertically a bit, but I haven’t found a solution to the problem... I just kind of deal with it I guess... sorry! I hope someone knows how to fix it...

It’s just how the knots are formed. They’re longer than they are wide so an alpha will never be really square

**don’t remember. Maybe try pushing your knots into shape a bit with you fingers? 🤔

Alpha bracelets are never completely 1:1. I'd just make sure you tie your knots as tight as you can (but not too tight that it warps the bracelet).
