Are there any loops for bracelets besides the teardrop loop?

Is there any lopp that's less thick than the teardrop loop? I just think most of the times the teardrop loop looks too big or too thick and gives a weird look to the bracelet. I couldn't find anything online so maybe you guys can help me with this.

You can do any start you like after a loop for example a regular triangle end. You could also start with a slanted edge so it is like a half triangle end. Basically you can do any start that you can do without a loop too.

@halokiwi Thank you but I meant the loop itself, if there are different loops for bracelets or if there's a way to make the loop less thick.

You don’t have to do a stitched loop, you can just leave the strings loose, like I did for #82514. Alternatively, you could do braids or twisted ties and start the bracelet with a triangle end, like what @Racoon did for #33616

Look on YouTube Masha knots has a tutorial or a half and half loop and switching color for an alternating color loop

a teardrop loop is where you bring the strings down into a chevron, right? If that’s what you’re thinking, then yes there are!

You can make a simple stitched loop and then take it into a triangle end. The loop itself will look the same as the teardrop loop, being that it’s a stitched loop, but it won’t have the teardrop shape. If you look at daisy chain bracelets, the loop will look like the start of those.

As for making the loop less thick, that’s just because you have a lot of strings. Personally I don’t like loops for over 12 strings. There’s no way to make the loop less thick other than using thinner strings 🙂

maybe if you’re using embroidery floss, you could remove 2 or 3 of the strands? this would result in an overall smaller and thinner bracelet🙂

If that doesn’t work let me know and I’ll do some experiments and make a tutorial🙂
