i'm not sure if it's because i knot top tightly or what, but my knots always seem slanted in the direction i'm knotting, so they all look like this/ / / / \ \ \ \ if that makes any sense lol. does anyone have a solution? it's annoying when i try to make a pattern but the slanting of the knots make the design look funky. thank u ! |

Hi!I think that this is just a normal thing that happens with any alpha bracelets. It happens to me with my bracelets as well, and I know that if I use a ruler or straightedge to push the knots up every row/ every few rows, it can help them look more sqare shaped. I don't think that there's that much you can do about slanted knots other than that, but you could also try loosening your knots a bit as well and see if that works. Hope this helped! |

Hi!It could be how you knot, this happens to me pretty often and I observed that it was the angles and how tight i was knotting. |

Hello , I find with alphas that if you knot them more loosely compered to normal, mine seems to stay more straight. Also if you use the same size thread through out that also helps 🙂

It’s happens more on alphas with lots of the same colors. It’s because of the direction of the knots over the base strings. Starting at opposite sides will help and also making the first part of the knot loser than the second.
