Odd no.of strings on dowel

OK so my alpha has 15 base strings. The question is, how do I attach my 15th string on my dowel??????

For the 15th string you can use one end of your leading string. You just attach your leading string to the dowel and leave one end the same length as the base strings.You can also take a string that is the same length as the other strings you attached as base strings, split the string in half so it is only half as thick, attach it to the dowel as normal and use both halves of it together as one base string. |
