Adding string to a normal?

Whoops! I cut my strings too short for #98258. I always forget shaped patterns need the design strings double length. Does anyone have advice for adding in strings to a normal without leaving a weird bump or anything? I can't figure out how to get it to not show, especially on a pattern this thin with a prominent hole in the design. TIA!

u can add it in like how alpha strings are added and use like the flat alpha technique to keep it from being bumpy
