You can replace the too short string with a new string of the same colour similar to how you would make a colourswitch in an alpha (put the old string to the back and continue knotting with the new one in its place).Alex's Innovations has a video in which she goes more into detail: https://youtu.be/vJopcAcJqiA |

That's how it's done for a normal pattern. I just said that it's like a colour switch in an alpha because if you are familiar with how that is done, this isn't really new for you 🙂 but like I said the video explains it in more detail 👍
