Hi I'm not sure how to do alpha patterns quickly. I know that they take a while but I was wondering if I'm doing them quite slowly. For example, how long would it take you to do a pattern like #67874 so I can compare my time to yours. If you have any tips to become quicker than I would love to hear them. Thank you! |

I vastly prefer doing normal patterns so I'm a lot faster at those, but that alpha would probably take me around 1.5 - 2 hours, and that's if I'm being very conscious of how much time I'm taking. I usually like to be slower on color switches because that's where all my mistakes start happening.

It’s also how long you have been making them. I did a alpha pattern last year and it took me over a month to finish. Then this year I did the exact same one in like 5 days

I keep my thread on the bobbins for the leading string rather then cutting a yard or two off.

Alot of the time when I'm making bracelets I won't be paying full attention to it which causes me to be alot slower however if I really just concentrated then that pattern would probably take me about an hour. oh funny @crafter83 for me to save time, i cut off a bunch cuz i find that faster. huh. ig it’s all down to personal preference.

also #67874 would probably take me 2-3 hours. cuz i like to get mine rly straight so sometimes i spend time just like making them straight too ig.
