Hi everyone,I am making a Starburst keychain (pattern #25054) and I am not sure how to make the side triangle ends. Please let me know if you know how to make it. Thank you so much in advance!!💚 |

mash’s knots had a tutorial on the starburst, i’m pretty sure she explains the triangle ends in that.

I'm not sure what you mean by side triangle ends. If you mean the indents that for example @SC00PSAH0Y did for her starburst keychain, I can try to explain. If you mean something else, let me know.

I think you will be able to figure it out since you already know how to do regular triangle ends. Each edge is made the same way you would make an edge in a regular triangle end.You knot the pattern like you usually would until you have this shape ∖_/ (like a triangle end without a tip) Then you hide the loose strings of the slanted part inside the edge by making bf knots on the left and fb knots on the right The second half is again like a triangle start without a tip. You first make the edges using bf knots on the left side and fb knots on the right side like you do for a regular triangle end. The only difference to regular triangle ends is that you don't have a tip. |
