Ive been interested in trying to add some alphabet beads into some friendship bracelets and was wondering if anyone has done that before/if theres any how tos? i love the vibe the beads have but i want to try adding them to a normal pattern rather than just braiding a bracelet

i haven’t tried this with anything but square knotted bracelets but u could find patterns like #43588 or #54171 and put the alphabet beads in the holes.

I made one bracelet that I posted to #10994 if you want to check it out. I pulled the beads onto the two middle strings with the help of a thinner thread and knotted around the beads with the strings on the outside.I also made another one that I haven't posted yet. Thank you for reminding me 😉 |

i made one that i used the normal candy stripe pattern & halfway through i switched to the chinese staircase cord bracelet, added the beads over that, and switched back. it's my favorite method!!
