Can i use twine thread as base strings for alphas?I’m curious since using my DMC thread as base strings feels like a little bit of waste: ) |

u could use twine but it is thicker that DMC thread so u may have some troubles there. Twine is also itchy for skin 😉 😊

Um i use kite thread i mean the thread u use to make kites it is white and sometimes of cottonthat works well for me ❤️ 😉 |

if you want an alternative to twine, I use size three crotchet thread by the brand Aunt Lydia’s for my base strings and it works pretty well. It’s a lot cheaper than embroidery floss and it helps make my bracelets sturdier.
