I see so many cute alpha patterns but, they all have so many colors! When I make bracelets I sit on the edge of my bed, it’s very small, like 3 inches long so, I have 3 inches of workspace, and when I try to do alphas with a lot of colors, I don’t have enough room. They also get all tangled. Any ways to make alphas with a lot of colors easier? Thanks!

Instead of just letting the leading strings hang when you aren't knotting with them, try pulling them slightly to the side, and then up. (Not very hard. They should stay somewhat loose.) You can also use a bit of masking tape, or another kind of tape that isn't very sticky to hold the colors you aren't using.

Whenever you’re done using a color, cut it off to get rid of it. Maybe also try using a clipboard to help you clip down strings to keep them organized

i find putting the strings on those little white bobbins is super helpful! unlike trying to keep the string on the skein, it stays together on the bobbin the whole time and only lets out extra string when you want it to. and it's small enough that it won't get in the way of ur knots!
