need help with the beginning loop

i've been wanting to do this zigzag bracelet #25381 with the stitched/beginning loop, but the colors aren't mirroring each other so i can't just fold the strings in half and make the loop. every time i have tried to make a loop with this pattern. the strings are always out of order and some colors go on the complete opposite side. i cannot find any videos on this either. if someone could help, maybe even send me a tutorial, i would appreciate it! <3

If you are doing a shaped start like a triangle or tear drop, you should look at the strings behind the knots that show what two colors go into that knot instead of the ones at the top. It’s super hard to explain. I’m so sorry if that didn’t make sense.
