segment knotting?

so i see lots of people using this technique called segment knotting. basically instead of doing ur bracelets row by row, you kind of divide the bracelet into segments (which makes the whole process quicker). i haven't been able to find much info on how to do it, so i'm asking you guys for help. any tutorials?

Masha knots has a tutorial/ knot with me on it, but a lot of it depends on your bracelet and what makes sense to you

If you learn how to knot chevrons and candy stripes in segments, other bracelets will be pretty self explanatory. SimpleDiys on YouTube has a tutorial for chevrons and for candy stripes in a segment knotting method
