Hey guys! I’m starting to really expand my bracelet making, with making more alphas. The problem that I’m having is, my base strings are showing through the string that I knot with. Example ; if I’m knotting with an orange string on my black base string, I can see it. Whenever I finish the row, I can clearly see the black string. Am I not pulling tight enough? It’s just so frustrating. I made like 5 alphas, and I can’t seem to not do it. |

What you can do is, once you finished a row, take a ruler or something similar and push it up a bit. This should close the gaps between this row and the previous one and the base strings should no longer show between them.

I used to have this problem and I overcame its by adjusting my knots after every row and now, I just make sure that when I fasten the knot it is toughing the row above! 🙂

I would find something with a flat edge and use that to push my rows up so they can be more straight and consistent
