Why do all my normal bracelets curl up at the edges? 🙁

Just like the title says. All my normal bracelets curl up at the edges. One that I gave to a family member has actually rolled completely up so that it looks like a colorful tube wrapped around their wrist! Why does this happen and how do I fix it? I don't think I'm knotting horribly tightly, but my knots are not super loose either. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Maybe you're knotting just the first and last knot in every row too tight. Because of this the corner knots would be smaller than the knots in the middle and the bigger knots in the middle wouldn't have enough space to lie flat.

It could be the string too because one of my three kinds of strings does this. It’s called Prism and I try to mostly use it for alphas

The tighter the knots are the harder and less “curly” get

depends on the knot structure. striped bracelet do that because it’s all forward knots so you might wanna iron it or smthg or squash it between a couple of dictionaries or whatever.

The straight edges technique may curl up your edges a bit if you are using that.

you can always straighten the bracelet with a hair straightener

You are probably knotting too tightly. that is the main reason why your edges are curling up.
