So, I don't know my own strength and ended up ripping a string off of a bracelet I've been working on for a couple days. is there any way i can salvage it? It's a normal pattern bracelet if that makes a difference.

that has happened to me before, so annoying. What I do it tie another strand to the end of the piece that broke and slide the knot up so its even with the bracelet you have to be careful for a few rows, but after that it should be in good and you can cut the extras off the back : )

yeah what @hallepater said. you can just insert another string. masha knots has a video on changing colors in a normal pattern, but it’s e same technique

Pull the short part of the string that’s still attached up and behind the bracelet, tape a new string (or the part that ripped off) to your workspace, then just start knotting with/onto the new string as if it’s already part of the bracelet

You can take a piece of tape and tape in a new string of the same or varying color. Then move the other one (snapped one) out of the way and continue knotting with a new one

As @GenMalucci said, taping the string is a good idea. This has happened to me several times, and I would usually tape the ripped string behind the back of the bracelet and continue knotting onto it like normal. 😄
