Uneven amount of strings of the same colour in Normal

Hi hi i dunno if it makes sense but you know when there's 3 strings of the same colour in a normal so you fold a long string to make two, well how do you add the third? I usually use the teardrop start and i cant figure out how to have the third end not stick out!!!1

there are tutorials for the tear drop loop w an uneven amount of strings. i don’t know about colors though.... ik masha knots has a tutorial about that. look up loop with odd number of colors or smthg like that. and then if there is an odd number of strings then ik @ponotama has a tutorial on that as well.
