It depends on how tightly you tie your knots, but I don’t think it’s likely to fit without using the shaped alpha keychain technique. I can only fit around 18 strings onto a 2.5cm keychain

It depends on how tightly you knot the knots. I would say try making a few rows on it just to see if it comes out as you like it.
