You do the exact same thing as if you were replacing a knotting string, you just tape a new string behind the bracelet and start knotting 😄

You can replace a string using the alpha technique. Masha knots has a tutorial for this called "fixing mistakes". You can find it on her youtube channel.

Hi! This is what I do when a base string breaks, it’s a little tricky but here it is. I take the two split ends, one that’s attached to the bracelet, and one that just snapped off, and I just create a simple knot with the two. I make the knot as small and as tightly as I can, and then I just knot over it like normal. The knots of the alpha usually is able to cover up the knot between the base strings, if you can still see it I mess around with it until it can be tucked in between the knot or shows up on the back of the bracelet.
