Sorry, I just remembered I had another question. Okay so I get like the fb knot part. But then when I’m like tying the first row together for the first time it always looks like trash. My main issue is there’s string everywhere. It’s not neatly tucked away in knots. It’s usually because my string was farther up than I wanted but like how am I supposed to fix that? Any help plz

When you say the first row, do you mean chevron-shaped “row”, or do you mean an actual row of the pattern? Going immediately into row-by-row after a teardrop loop will distort the pattern and there will be some string sticking out
