I recently made a double zig-zag bracelet, and because it mainly uses a candy stripe technique, it curls upwards on the corners. Is it safe to iron bracelets? If not, are there other ways to flatten them out?

I don’t know on ironing them (I’d say it’s probably safe if you don’t do it for too long or too hot - it’s just strings) but if you want to play it safe you could just put something heavy on top of the bracelet for a while and see if that fixes it. Hope that helps!

It would depend on the string you’re using what setting you should use but technically yes, you can iron a bracelet.

I have generally used my flat iron for my hair on it and it works just fine. but be careful and don’t leave the heat on too long. it can burn or discolor the strings

Maybe put a piece of parchment paper on the strings so the heat isn’t directly on the bracelet. This is what I do for ironing on patches to clothing and stuff. Hope everything works out for you !

I usually just place a really heavy book on top of my bracelets and it flattens them out

I use a hair straightener to flatten them

I would say so but maybe put something on top of it just to protect it (perhaps like a T-Shirt or ironing paper).

What i find is a safe way is to place the bracelet under heavy objects. It flattens it without the risk of burning it. If you are going to use a flat iron, make sure it is on a low heat setting.

yes you can iron your bracelets and in my oppinion it stays longer flat if you give a wet cotton piece between your bracelet and the iron with that trick you ususally don'Ät have problems with the string
