Hello! I am having some issues with color switching. When I switch colors when making an Alpha, the knot becomes thinner and more slanted, and frustratingly, this only happens sometimes. I have no idea what changes when I do it right versus when I do it wrong. Does anybody know why this happens and how I can fix it? Thank you! |

If the knot becomes thinner, it’s most likely because you’re pulling to tight. If it’s slanting, you could try pushing up the knot with a ruler to straighten it out.

I have this problem too. You can try experimenting with the direction you pull the string in (up, diagonal, all the way to the side, etc). Sorry that I can’t help more than that 😅

If you aren't using the flat alpha technique already, that might be able to help. Tucking the previous colored sting in the knot can help beef it up a tiny bit so it doesn't look so small and slanted.
