Does anyone have any ideas for how to end a normal bracelet?!? I have tried just tying the two ends together but that sometimes doesn’t work, any ideas?

I tie it off so then I can thread the string through the loop, but if it is for someone else, I braid it so it looks nicer.

I do a lot of endings like braids on the ends, clasps, and more. You can check out my photos to see what I do. 👍

I've started doing buttons lately, and it works quite well!! It also can look pretty cool if you use an interesting button or match the colors. Plus, it makes it easy to talk them on and off if you need to. There's a tutorial for it on here if you want to try. 🙂

I use these ribbon end things I found on clearance at JoAnn's for the ends of my bracelets (they're metal). I just put this here in case anyone's curious. I've found that doing triangle ends and then adding the ribbon end thing works the best. I know some people also use woven crimp ends. I think adding the metal end and then using a jump ring to attach a lobster claw hook gives it a really nice finish. However, I also like to do a teardrop loop and then braids, and sometimes I just tie knots at the ends. It's really up to how you want to do it.

I usually end with two braids but i have been trying a sliding knot for some of my bracelets. I think there might be a youtube video on this topic.

Masha Knots has some great tutorials on YouTube for starting and ending bracelets (both normal patterns and alphas).

My favorite way to end my bracelet is to do a triangle end and then twist the rest of the strings together for a little bit more length before putting a button on the end. I love the buttons it looks so cute and clean and so easy to take the bracelet on and off. Besides, the button works so well with a starting loop!

My favorite way to end bracelets is the twist method. Just search up the twist tie method from Masha Knots. It's super basic and works with all bracelets, alpha and normal.
