How big are your key rings?

I finally decided to buy some d ring key chains. I am not sure what size i should get. The one i saw first was 2.5 cm. Pls let me know what size would be the best! Since its kinda expensive where i live so i do not want to waste my money on things i wont end up using. 😄 |

It depends on the size of keychains that you think you’ll be making. My d rings are are 1 inch (almost exactly 2.5cm) and they’re a great size for me, but it might look a little weird if I did a keychain that was only 5 base strings or something like that. Also, where are you buying yours from? Is Amazon available where you live?

Like the other person said up there, it depends on how big of keychains you want to make. I usually use the 3/4 inch keychains (not sure how big in centimeters) and they work nicely, but can only fit 16-18 strings comfortably. If you want to do bigger keychains than 18 strings then you should get the 1 inch (2.5 cm) ones (:

I use the 2.5 cm ones and i can fit arround 20-22 basestrings, I think that is a good measure but it depends on what patters you're most comfortable with.

it depends on what size of keychains you typically make. the most common sizes are 3/4 inch and 1 inch 🙂
