Hi I’m doing pattern #50518 and im on row 8 and how do switch back to the background color on the edge using the flat alpha technique?

You would just do it as normal but with a backward forward knot or a forward backwards knot on the edge. It might look a bit of a mess at first but as you knot it will look better!

If you do the flat alpha technique for a color switch at the end of a row, the previous leading strings will stick out and be very visible on the side of the bracelet. It’s better to just use the regular color switching technique for color switches that are at the end of a row

@Fanta_937 You would do one backward knot with the color you want to switch to, then you put the color up. After, take the string that you were knotting with before the color switch before under the base string that you just knotted onto. Then put the sametring over the base string and to the right. Last, take the string that you want to switch to and do a forward knot. The one that you had before will have a little color showing through and to fix it, just give the string a little tug. Adjust it until you like the way it looks. Hope this helps!❤️ ❤️ ❤️
