I always pull if it is tangled. Not the best strategy but it works 😅

I open it up and search from there! If you didn’t know, if you open from the loop on most thread there is a nice circle to string from!

Hi! A really cool trick you can use is to find the hole on the skein, with a string going into it. If you pull that string, then the end should come out, and you can begin using it. Since Summer Nights is really well-wrapped, then it shouldn't be a problem. 😊 I hope this helps!
