Hey everybody,i really want to get started in making key chains with the alpha designs, but i do not know how wide they have to be. Do you guys have any suggestions on the number of strings i have to start with? |

I've found that generally 10-20 strings is good. 10 strings is on the smaller side, makes a good zipper pull. I recommend just starting with a loop (like you often see on bracelets) then adding your key ring afterwards.
