To learn how to segment knot I recommend to check out either the tutorials in our tutorial section:- https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/61_knotting-in-sections/ - https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/97_how-to-segment-knot/ or watching videos on this topic on YouTube - video by MashaKnots https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cwTBtpF0TcE&t=1219s - video by MeganMorris https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNMyp3VGdzQ&t=227s I'm unsure how experienced you are with making bracelets in general but I assume you are just starting out - for normal patterns I definitely recommend the candystripe #1 and the chevron #2 - for alphas I recommend making a bracelet with 2 or 3 colours, the rag rug bracelet or the vertical wave Here is a video on the rag rug bracelet: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Xva91uIYfs Here's a video on the vertical wave https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jVG81EMSFJg&t=239s This rainbow bracelet is also a good first https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmRLgBg3nG4&t=3s |

There are many different ways to segment knot but Masha Knots has a very good tutorial on it. and for patterns it all depends on what "level" your on bracelet making wise. Hope this helped!! ❤️ 😊

#24716 is a great pattern to learn segment knotting. You can make it by doing each block of color as a whole. Good luck🍀
