Does anybody have any tips on how I can avoid the extra string on the back of Alpha bracelets?

When you make a 3+ color alpha, you switch strings and there will be a string on the back the color that you just switched to. You will likely end up with a lot of random strings attached to the back. Does that make more sense? If not I'll try to explain again 😄

Look the thumbnail of the video for pattern #11953 by Chirish and you'll see what I mean

Oh I get it! That string that comes out in the back when you tie on a new color!

For that, I like to take a pair of sharp scissors and use the tips to cut it as close to the bracelet as I can. It normally leaves behind a VERY small trace of thread in the back and is not very noticeable when done correctly. 😄

Another method is just simply cutting the string in the back shorter, then using fabric glue to stick it to the bracelet but that's too messy for me, personally. : )

I knot the the pieces on the back onto one another. Works pretty well.
