You can watch bracelet related videos like string hauls, knot with me, bracelet tutorials, etc. Joining challenges on braceletbook is also super motivating.

Try finding a pattern you like and do that, or just do a really simple bracelet like a candy stripe or chevron to get you back in the grove. Or just take a break. I did that and then I came back and started them again (:

I'm the same way sometimes, pretty often actually due to my mental health so sometimes I have no motivation to do anything at all... What I tend to do though, as well as what was mentioned above is come on BB and look through Photos. Seeing what other people have created and all the different techniques and colour schemes, gives me that motivation to start a new project; and more often than not I will see a pattern that I love and haven't seen before and want to make it, and I find myself immediately starting it. Then it keeps me going for a week or two in getting back into knotting and sticking with it. As well as looking through the Photo's I do the same with Patterns, old patterns and recent, and usually I would find something that makes me want to pick up my string! Having a break for a month or two is something to consider as well if you need it of course. |

Look for patterns or inspo photos that make you excited! That should help you become more motivated 🙂

Hi! I'm actually starting to lose some motivation as well! I would highly recommend looking at others' bracelets. Instagram is a great place that I use to get inspired. Also, looking at photos here and Pinterest is a great help. Watching others' YouTube videos are great as well, to see what types of patterns they are doing. Also, looking at color schemes are super fun to get inspired. I hope this helps! 😄

Try a new technique, for example making a bookmark or making an alpha+normal bracelet

I get in slumps of no motivation for bracelets (and keychains). When this happens I generally take the time to re-organize my thread, and just watch videos on bracelets and add more to dos. This way I still keep them in my mind, so I don't forget to go back to them, but I don't try to fight myself on starting and finishing bracelets when I just don't want to. I find starting and trying to push through a bracelet makes my slump worse and longer.

I asked a bunch of my friends to pick any pattern they really liked and I would make it for them, I’ve made about 10 so far currently working on 2 more

This happens to me, I find it helpful to start a easy, normal pattern to get out of it

It takes me multiple months to finish one bracelet because I always lose motivation. Honestly just being active on braceletbook and continuing to add bracelet to my todo list usually helps me. Also watching bracelet hauls on youtube lol
