^^^ anyone got any tips on how to knot faster? I’ve definitely sped up since I started, but it still takes me quite a while to make something. ^^^

Things like fanning out the strings, memorising the pattern (if you can) so you aren't constantly looking at the pattern, segment knotting (if you do normals), just things like that will help in making the process faster. Also, if its actually a pattern you want to make and are happy about making, that will generally make you knot that little bit faster (or that's how it is for me anyway). The two main (and simple) things though to get faster, is by practicing and knotting often (or more often). 🙂 |

Hello! Here are some tips (some of these are based on @Margaron's video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNnBvhLGdCQ&t=1s) :- Finding a large space where you can easily fling around your string. - Keeping the bracelet secure (with a safety pin, clipboard, tape, etc.) - Making smaller four and P shapes. - Using string that is easy and comfortable to use. I hope this helps. Happy knotting!! 😄 |

I think the most important thing is practice! Once you get familiar with knot tension and the pattern you're making, you will probably knot faster : )

if you knot with bobbins or a skien it can slow you down when you try and pull through so i recommend just cutting a long piece of string for aplahs. also if you dont segment knot already do it it made kotting so much faster and enjoyable. if you want to try segment knotting start with a shaped start of some sort

The more you practice the faster you will get. If you practice a lot then you will see a difference in your speed from when you started.
