do triangle start and ends take up a lot of thread? I have just learnt how to make a triangle start and end but i don't have a lot of thread so i would like to know if it would take up a lot of my thread if i do it.

alphas or normals? it takes a bit more in alpha but not in normal, you dont have to cut extra string for triangles start end for normals

If you are talking about an actual bracelet it needs to have a certain length to reach around your wrist. I would say you need less strings when you compare a bracelet with triangle ends that fits perfectly around your wrist and one that's just started in a straight line that also fits perfectly around your wrist.

If you have something like a keychain that doesn't need a specific length you will need more string because you make the keychain etc. longer than it would have been without the triangle end but it is not a whole lot more 🙂

Hello! In general, I don't think triangle ends should be a problem with the string length. However, if it is a problem, I would suggest cutting them maybe an inch and a half or so longer than usual. 😊 I hope this helps!
