For both kinds of bracelets you can do a loop or several loops. You can also do twisted or braided ties.A video on seven different ties by pattern and crafts https://youtu.be/sGR9nA7L1zE After the loop or ties you can start with - a triangle - a half triangle / slanted edge - more than one triangle or half triangle (a loop with two triangles or half triangles is called a teardrop loop because the loop has a teardrop shape) - a straight edge / no specific start (I only recommend this for smaller bracelets because it might curve otherwise) Triangle ends on a normal pattern: You have the option to do a single coloured edge or a multicolored edge Here's a tutorial for the single colour edge by pattern and crafts https://youtu.be/kLkcwaTUGv8 Here's a video by empatheo https://youtu.be/i9E4Q7wVttw Triangle ends on an alpha pattern - you can either do it the same way as in a normal pattern by using the base strings to make the triangle - or you can knot onto the base strings row by row like you usually do in an alpha Bookmark with straight edge and hole: HandMade Lenin has a good video on it https://youtu.be/wJDV7bfqZos You can make an eye shaped loop Empatheo has a video on it https://youtu.be/SEeCV0F3ygA He also has videos on adding buttons to friendship bracelets https://youtu.be/BF0QTZiWC7U https://youtu.be/H_eZsLSyPvU https://youtu.be/ksjlaJ4q5Jo Alex's Innovations has a comprehensive guide on starts and finishes. I think she covers pretty much everything you could think of https://youtu.be/N6-KQDLeKik |
