Alpha knot tying

When I tie my knots on alphas the background knots are smaller than when I have to switch colors and it makes my patterns look weird. Any tips you have would be great 🙂 Thanks

I recommend pushing up the knots that are bigger with a ruler up to the size of the other knots. It works for me 💗😂

Hello, I would suggest using the same brand of embroidery floss. If you can't, I would suggest using string that is all the same thickness. What I've also noticed, was how loosening your knots really keeps them even and significantly improves the bracelets/keychains/wall hangings. I hope this helps. Happy knotting! 😊

In my experience, using different thickness of strings makes knots uneven. It is completely fine to use a different width of base string than the width of the leading string, but make sure all the leading strings are the same size. Likewise, make sure that all the base strings are the same thickness.
