oof I should of asked this a while ago because I have ruined so many of my alphas because of this but umm when I am making an alpha that has a picture...the picture gets all weird and like if there was a line in the pattern my line wouldn't match up in a straight line so I am just wondering how I could fix that 😐 Thank you Much!

Are you using the same brand/thickness of thread? That could impact the size of your knots and make them not be even. Another thing you’ll have to do is just to practice your knot tension and try to see what looks best

Did you try pulling it tight then using your finger nail to move it up the string

If you’re really bothered by it, maybe you could try the upside down alpha technique. Here’s a video that @Margaron posted where she shows the technique in the beginning part of the video https://youtu.be/pEcqSy_ZVk4As for how I like to tie my knots, I’m not really sure, I kind of just do what feels right. I have no idea whether they’re loose or tight. |

Hello, I would usually use my fingernail or a straight edge. A ruler is the best choice for me, but I do know that a lot of other things work fine as well. If none of those work, try loosening up your knots, to keep them even. I noticed that it really changed the quality of my alphas at a quick pace. I hope this helps! 👍
