Bookmark hole?

Hey everyone, I have seen so many incredible photos of bookmarks that have the straight beginning and then a circular hole a few rows down for a tie to go through. Does anyone have a tutorial they could link or know how to do it? I would really love to make them, I just don't know how to do the hole. Thank you guys in advance!!
