Alpha - base strings are too short

Hello! 😄 I got a problem. At the moment I am working on an alpha pattern. I have the loop at the beginning and also the whole knotted part. I want to use it as a bracelet and to do it with twisted ties. Now it's just that if I twist the ties, they're not long enough to tie them to the loop when I turn it around as a bracelet.Therefore, my question is whether you have an idea how I can complete the ties differently and thus solve the problem with the too short threads. @Marieke123 you can try to put some strings through the loop and make twisted ties. So now you will have ties on both the side of bracelet now you can simply tie around our wrist.

@Marieke123 If you want you can make your bracelet adjustable as you will have ties on both the side of bracelet. It is completely your choice to do that. If you want to do Kinsey b has a tutorial on it you can see that. I hope that make sense

Hi, I have had this happen to me before and it felt like a waste of time. I just learned from my mistake because there wasn’t really anything to do about it and now a little ways before I end the bracelet I make sure my strings are long enough for twisted ties, and replace them if they won’t last.🦋

@Godluvsu Yes you are right! That's the best thing, but I sometimes have a problem with measuring the length of the base strings... So things like that happen sometimes. However, I have now solved the problem. I tried the variant described above, but was not so happy with it. Now I've pinned a button down and it works perfectly! Thank you anyway for your help!! I will try to measure it better soon. |
