What I usually do with my excess is use them as base strings for any alphas that I work on

I use them for pretty much any color in an alpha. I don’t really ever use them for base strings, but I just knot with them because replacing/adding in another color in alphas isn’t too hard.

You should use your leftover strings to make a rag rug bracelet. Alex innovation and Kinsey b has a tutoraial on it. You can make rag rug in 2 types. One of the type i have made you can check my profile picture. The one which I have made is from kinsey b tutorial.

Sometimes, I just throw them in a container, but if I need just a little bit of a specific color for an alpha bracelet , I usually take it from there, or I use it as base strings for Alpha keychains. If you want, you can use all your base strings to create a cool Multi-color Background for Alpha patterns in which the center/ the main symbol is quite plain. For ex. Patterns like #60315 , #70974, etc...

if you don't want to make other bracelets out of it, you can use it for details in embroidery projects 🙂

Mostly i save them to use in alphas, but sometimes I save them up and then make a bracelet with words on it or something using an alphabet pattern.
